Scott Aerospace at Poland’s MSPO 2026
Strengthening Partnerships Across Europe, and Beyond
In September 2026, Scott Aerospace attended MSPO in Kielce, Poland, one of Europe's largest defence exhibitions and a key event for organisations operating across the land, maritime and aerospace sectors. Representing Scott Aerospace throughout the week were Tim, Maciej and Oliver, who travelled to Poland to engage with industry leaders, manufacturers, customers and government stakeholders from across Europe and further afield.
MSPO provided an excellent platform to showcase Scott Aerospace's capabilities and to explore opportunities to support defence programmes throughout Poland and the wider European market. Discussions ranged from maritime programmes, including Poland's Miecznik-class frigate initiative, through to solutions supporting land forces, specialist clothing and equipment. (“Miecznik”, not to be confused with Maciej, is Polish for swordfish). Emerging requirements within the rapidly expanding unmanned and autonomous systems sector also featured heavily at the event.
As Europe continues to increase investment in defence capability and industrial resilience, events such as MSPO provide a valuable opportunity to understand customer priorities, develop local market knowledge and identify areas where Scott Aerospace can deliver value through its extensive international supply chain and partner network.
Building Industry Relationships
A major focus of our attendance was the development of new relationships across the Polish and European defence sectors. Throughout the exhibition, the Scott Aerospace team met with defence primes, manufacturers, procurement specialists and end users operating across land, air and maritime domains.
Particularly valuable were discussions with representatives from Poland’s prime defence contactor PGZ and other key participants within Poland's defence industrial base. These conversations provided important insights into Poland's ambitious defence modernisation programmes and highlighted numerous opportunities for collaboration with organisations seeking trusted supply chain partners capable of delivering specialist products, equipment and services.
The exhibition also reinforced the importance of face-to-face engagement in building successful long-term partnerships. Over the course of the event, Scott Aerospace established new contacts while strengthening relationships with existing customers, partners and industry peers from across Europe, North America and the wider international defence community.
Building Strategic Relationships: Canada, UK & Poland
One of the standout aspects of MSPO 2026 was the strong Canadian presence at the exhibition and the opportunity to strengthen strategic links between Canadian, British and Polish defence organisations.
During the event, Scott Aerospace engaged with a range of Canadian organisations including Invest Nova Scotia, BluMetric, ACADA (Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association), Wuxly and our long-standing partner Tulmar Safety Systems. These discussions explored opportunities to bring innovative Canadian capabilities into European and Polish defence programmes while creating new routes to market for allied suppliers.
The event also demonstrated the growing importance of international cooperation in delivering modern defence capability. By connecting organisations from Canada, the United Kingdom and Poland, MSPO created a valuable forum for exploring collaborative approaches to procurement, technology transfer, supply chain resilience and capability development. The relationships developed during the exhibition will support Scott Aerospace's ongoing objective of connecting customers with proven products and solutions from across its global partner network.
Looking Ahead
As the exhibition concluded, the Scott Aerospace team reflected on what proved to be an exceptionally productive and valuable week in Kielce. Meetings with defence primes, manufacturers, government representatives and international partners highlighted both the scale of opportunity within the Polish defence market and the importance of collaborative international relationships.
We would like to thank the MSPO organisers for delivering another outstanding event, as well as the many organisations and individuals who took the time to meet with our team throughout the exhibition. We are particularly grateful to our partners and colleagues from Canada, Poland, the United Kingdom and elsewhere whose support and engagement contributed to a successful week.
As Scott Aerospace continues to expand into new markets and support customers across the defence sector, the connections established at MSPO 2026 will play an important role in shaping future opportunities. We look forward to building on the relationships formed in Poland and continuing to support allied defence industries through innovative solutions, trusted partnerships and a commitment to long-term collaboration.
