Scott Aerospace supports National Cadets Week

Kicking-off Cadets Week at HMS Flying Fox with the Wessex Reserve Forces & Cadets Association

Scott Aerospace are proud to support local and national Cadets Forces.

Cadets Forces are fantastic ways to bring young people together across the country, fostering community, skills and teamwork. This week is National Cadets Week, and we’re delighted to recognise the fantastic work cadets, and cadet volunteers do. Furthermore, as the government is committed to growing Cadet Forces by 10% by 2030 and 30% by 2035, we’re pledging our support to the cadets wherever industry can help.

Summer Camp Shirts

Over the summer, Scott Aerospace supported the Gloucestershire ACF (army cadet force) by sponsoring the summer camp T-Shirts.

The T-Shirts made a meaningful difference in creating a sense of unity and belonging within the ACF. “When every cadet is able to wear the same shirt – regardless of their financial situation – it reinforces the idea that they are part of one team, equal and valued. No one has to worry about standing out or feeling different because they cannot afford to purchase a shirt. Instead they can focus on what truly matters: their growth, their training and their price in being part of the Army Cadet Force.”

The placement of the Scott Aerospace logo on each cadet’s shirt reminds them that “a community partner believes in them and support their journey. It’s a simple gesture with a powerful impact – one that strengthens morale, promotes inclusivity and builds a positive connection between your organisation and the next generation of leaders.”

Community investment and engagement inspires cadets to make meaningful contributions to the communities they serve. Scott Aerospace is proud to dedicate resources to supporting and encouraging the development of cadets, recognising the vital role they play in the development of community-minded individuals.

Armed Forces Covenant

Supporting the cadets is part of our wider commitment to the armed forces community. Scott Aerospace signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2025, confirming our commitment to supporting all members of the armed forces community. We also work closely with the Royal British Legion, supporting events such as the Poppy Appeal and Lifting the Decks.
