2026 Theme: Give to Gain
The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day, Give to Gain, reflects our belief that empowering women by giving opportunities, training, mentoring, growth, equal pay, visibility, credit and recognition benefits everyone and makes our teams and business stronger.
A lot has changed in the last 115 years - and a lot remains to be done. Significant barriers to gender equality still exist, but as an inclusive employer all of us at Scott Aerospace are dedicated to breaking barriers, fostering leadership, and creating swift opportunities for women to excel in every facet of defence.
Deeds, not words
Over 50% of our workforce are women, double the average in the defence industry, and women occupy positions at all levels of seniority. We’re extremely proud of this achievement and Scott Aerospace have made further commitments to increasing opportunities for women and publishing our progress; the Women in Defence Charter holds us accountable.
