Scott Aerospace are proud to be invited to the TERMA Naval Day 2026 this week.
This year’s theme is 'Shaping the Future of Europe's Naval Defence - Together'. The event featured very insightful talks on topics including threats, autonomy and hybrid naval vessels from an impressive line-up of speakers such as Michiel Hijmans (former Admiral, Royal Dutch Navy) Torben Mikkelsen (Managing Director Naval Team Denmark and former Admiral, Royal Danish Navy). Guy Hope from SEA Systems Engineering & Assessment and Antoine Kauffmann from Naval Group gave insightful speeches about technologies in combat. Garry Davies from Chemring spoke about the latest trends in naval decoy systems. From TERMA, Vice President Martin Couet, CCO Thomas Flarup, Head of Naval Sales Per Sorensen and Sales Director Martin Jentsch all served as excellent hosts with valuable insights to share.
Further topics of discussion included capability needs, procurement trends, project delivery and collaborative partnerships - areas where Scott Aerospace have proven aptitude. TERMA Naval Day provided strategic insight and chances to identify upcoming collaboration opportunities across Europe.
Connecting and Learning
Mark and Tim represented Scott Aerospace, finding that the day was an excellent opportunity to connect with peers and gain strategic insight across the global naval sector on a high-level. Scott Aerospace are positioning ourselves at the forefront of emerging naval technologies, such as autonomous and hybrid vessels and other platforms necessary to combat new and emerging threats.

This offers both deep and high-level insight, market perspective and hands-on understanding of the solutions and architectures that will shape Europe’s naval defence capabilities in the years ahead.
