Remembrance at Scott Aerospace
Remembrance Sunday 2025:

Scott Aerospace are recognising the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces through a series of events around Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day 2025. Scott Aerospace staff have supported the Poppy Appeal by wearing and selling poppies, and taking part in ceremonies around remembrance.
Supporting the Royal British Legion
Annabelle, Oliver and Tim proudly volunteered on Remembrance Sunday to run a poppy stall in Cabot Circus. This was a fantastic opportunity to speak with hundreds of Bristol shoppers about the armed forces and hand out poppies while raising vital donations for the Royal British Legion. We are grateful to the legion for organising the Poppy Appeal, and most of all for providing us an opportunity to give back to those who served and are still serving.
Now in its 104th year, the Royal British Legion runs a range of support services to help armed forces personnel, veterans and their families look towards a better future. RBL’s support includes mental and physical health, employment, finance and housing. Learn more about the RBL on their website.
Lest We Forget
Remembrance Sunday events also included our colleague Jess supporting her Scout group’s remembrance parade, reflecting our shared ethos to “do a good turn daily”. Preparations began long in advance of Remembrance Sunday, with the Scouts decorating the Scout Hall with poppies, which feature the names of everyone from the village who lost their lives in the war. The parade also visited the new Severn Beach war memorial - pictures are shown above.
Eleventh Hour on the Eleventh Day of the Eleventh Month
On Tuesday we observe a minute’s silence to mark The Armistice, which 107 years ago ended World War I, and to remember all who lost their lives serving their country.
