Scott Aerospace attend DEFSEC Atlantic in Canada
DEFSEC 2025
Tim, Lauren and Jodie representing Scott Aerospace at DEFSEC Atlantic in Canada.
Scott Aerospace successfully concluded our participation at DEFSEC 2025 in Halifax, Canada, a milestone in our commitment to transatlantic collaboration. The event was excellent, with significant energy and enthusiasm surrounding the Canadian defence industry.
Transatlantic Relationships
Our team, Lauren Bryant, Jodie Copeland and Tim Chilton – a DEFSEC regular – represented Scott Aerospace, engaging in meaningful discussions with prime contractors, industry leaders and OEMs. Leveraging our extensive mandate with the U.K. Royal Navy and our Value Proposition for Canada, we were able to explore new avenues of cooperation and identify opportunities that promise to strengthen ties between Scott Aerospace and Canada.
Central to these conversations were Davie, Irving Shipbuilding and Seaspan; their role in shaping the future of Canada’s naval capabilities demonstrates the importance of collaboration. We are proud to be part of the dialogue that supports innovation, resilience, and security on both sides of the Atlantic.
Beyond these strategic discussions, our team also connected with a wide range of industry players, including McTaggart Scott, Chemring, Rousseau Metal, and Calian Group. Each meeting provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of defence and shipping, reinforcing the importance of partnerships that drive progress and ensure a safe and secure future for all.
What’s Next?
With Jodie, Lauren and Tim returned home, the real work begins. Conversations started in Halifax will now be transformed into action, as we continue to pursue opportunities that deepen cooperation between Scott Aerospace and the Canadian defence and shipping industry.
Thank You, Canada!
We extend our sincere thanks to the organisers of DEFSEC Atlantic for hosting such a successful event. Scott Aerospace is proud to take part and we look forward to returning to DEFSEC in 2026 to continue building bridges, strengthening partnerships and shaping the future of defence together.
