Scott Aerospace Staff Tour Navy Vessels at DSEI 2025
Scott Aerospace staff have recently been fortunate to tour multiple navy vessels from the Belgian Navy, German Navy and Royal Navy.
Tours were kindly led by crew from each ship; these proved deeply insightful and provided a valuable opportunity for Scott Aerospace staff to meet the end users of equipment and services that we have provided.
The ships were visiting Royal Victoria Dock in London for DSEI UK 2025, one of the world’s largest security and defence industry exhibitions. Two Royal Navy vessels, HMS Mersey and HMS Example were joined by FGS Sachsen from the German Navy and BNS Pollux from Belgium.
Aboard HMS Mersey, the Royal Navy’s River Class patrol vessel, staff were invited to peer through the sights of the Oerlikon 20mm cannon. Aboard FGS Sachsen, the lead ship of the German Sachsen-class frigates (comparable to destroyers in the RN fleet), our staff were delighted to catch a photo on deck with one of the crewmembers.
Scott Aerospace are proud to support the navy with a range of items and services, including through the MaST and Warpaints contracts for the Surface Fleet — and SMASSES for the Submarine Service.
We’d like to thank the Royal Navy and the navies of Belgium and Germany, along with the organisers of DSEI, for arranging these tours and providing such a warm welcome onboard.
