Scott Aerospace attend Marine Engineering Symposium
Scott Aerospace was honoured to attend the Royal Navy’s 2026 Marine Engineering Symposium, held at the shore establishment HMS Sultan. This unforgettable day provided valuable insight into the navy’s Marine Engineering section, including the recent experiences of its engineers and future ambitions.
Throughout the day, a series of enlightening lectures on various related topics were delivered by a series of naval personnel, veterans and contractors. During breaks, we had the opportunity to speak to personnel and other visitors about Scott Aerospace at our stand.
The symposium provided valuable opportunities to learn more about the day-to-day work and strategic operations of naval personnel and how Scott Aerospace can further support the Royal Navy. Serious insight was given into subjects such as Operation Highmast, the rapid deployment of HMS Duncan and the future fleet.
In the evening, a superb dinner was served in the Wardroom (mess hall), with excellent entertainment delivered by the drums of the Royal Marines Cadets.
We thank the organisers from the Royal Navy Marine Engineering Section and HMS Sultan for hosting this impactful event and Commodore Steve Large for thoughtfully inviting us.
We are delighted to have co-sponsored the symposium and look forward to continuing our support for the Royal Navy.
