Investing in the Future
This year marked the launch of the Scott Aerospace Graduate Scheme, attracting ambitious young professionals into the defence industry. We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Graduate Scheme and welcome three talented graduates to the business as they begin their careers with us.
The programme has been designed to provide hands-on experience across key areas of our operations, with a particular focus on project management and procurement. Through structured development, mentoring and real-world responsibility, our graduates will gain valuable insight into how complex defence programmes are delivered and supported.
As part of their roles, the graduates will be involved in the management and delivery of supply contracts supporting the Royal Navy and other customers. Working alongside experienced professionals, they will contribute to activities including supplier engagement, contract administration, programme coordination and supply chain management. This exposure will provide a comprehensive understanding of the critical processes that underpin successful defence procurement and project delivery.
Our recent graduates completed degrees in business, supply chain, operations and logistics management.
The defence sector offers unique opportunities for professional growth, requiring a combination of technical understanding, commercial awareness and strong stakeholder management skills. Our Graduate Scheme has been created to help participants build that expertise while making a meaningful contribution from day one.
The launch of the Graduate Scheme represents another step in Scott Aerospace's commitment to strengthening capability, supporting industry skills development and building a sustainable workforce for the future.
